John Henrey is an AACI designated appraiser with over 35 years commercial valuation and consulting experience in British Columbia.
After obtaining a Business Degree focused on Finance and Real Estate from UBC in 1985
John joined what was then Burgess Austin and Associates where he specialized in commercial appraisal and consulting.

In 1992 John joined Colliers where he continued his commercial appraisal work followed
by several years as a broker focused on industrial real estate sales and leasing.

Upon returning to appraisal at Colliers Valuation and Advisory Services John specialized
in industrial property valuation over time starting a small team in 2017.

John has acted as an expert in a range of arbitrations including rental valuations and
renewals for industrial and retail properties for both landlords and tenants. John has provided evidence as a broker in receivership sales and as a valuation expert in BC Supreme Court. John started sharing management of the BC valuation group in 2018 assisting with Colliers Canadian technology transition in 2018. John later moved to full-time management and is in his fourth year leading Collier’s BC and Alberta valuation team.
