Brett has three decades of appraisal experience in the British
Columbia region. He specializes in valuation and consulting services
pertaining to expropriation proceedings and litigation support, with
a focus on public acquisitions. Brett is the Past President of the
Appraisal Institute of Canada – BC Association where he chaired the
Governance Committee and is past chair of the National
Investigations Sub-Committee (Professional Practice). Brett is an
active member of the BC Expropriation Association (BCEA), sits on
the Assessment Appeal Board of the Semiahmoo First Nation and
has been accepted as an expert witness before the Supreme Court
of BC and at Arbitration Hearings
